Smartphone mockups with Screen Makeron February 14, 2013 at 2:00 am
Signature banners, ROM banners, Application banners, are all just a few of the many examples of artistic creativity showcased on our forums. One of the ingredients for such compositions includes the all-important image of the related device, possibly displaying the ‘advertised’ developmental work. Traditionally achieved using an image editing software such as Photoshop, a customized image of a phone can now be achieved with Screen Maker.
Brought to us by the creator of Dev Drawable, XDA Senior Member 2lines.pl, Screen Maker allows developers to easily generate pictures of a variety of Android devices with customized screen content. This allows for the creation of professional-looking example images that best provide context for the provided development work. Usage of this app is simple: Select a device you want and an image to be displayed, along with a couple more images, depending on how customized you want the image to be, and voila. Customization options available in the free version include having a device shadow, reflection and rotate and resize the device.
Available to all users running Android 2.1 and newer, the application is available on the Play store. With constant updates and an active developer, more details of Screen Maker can be found at the original thread.
